Microsoft may be working on a new ‘Control Center’ for Windows 10 Fall Creator Update

Microsoft yesterday released the Windows 10 insider preview build 16199 on the fast ring. Windows Central spotted that the blog post for this new build yesterday had a picture of the new setting icon in the taskbar that was later removed. 

According to them clicking the setting icon in the Windows 10 Taskbar would open a transparent pop up like it do for WiFi settings in the taskbar. This popup has quick actions and some new features like brightness slider. This image has been removed from the post and this setting icon is now not available on the Windows 10 fast ring build 16199. Here’s is a look of it:

It is believed that Microsoft is working on a new ‘control center’ which will have these Toggle from the action center and the system tray of the taskbar. This will mean that the action center will be extensively used for the notifications of the app by Microsoft in Windows 10. There is no official news from Microsoft regarding this or its presence in the Windows 10 fall creators update. Let us see what Microsoft have for the insiders in the upcoming Builds regarding this new ‘control center’.
